NRL Live Streaming 2013
Canterbury Bulldogs vs Penrith Panthers
31 August, Saturday 5:30 pm
VENUE : ANZ Stadium
HEAD TO HEAD: Played 82 – Bulldogs 47, Panthers 32, draws 3
LAST TIME: Bulldogs 22 def Panthers 14 – Round 1, 2012 at Centrebet Stadium

WALKING WOUNDED: Des Hasler has included Tony Williams in his starting line-up to replace suspended second row Frank Pritchard, while Lachlan Burr has been named to make his NRL debut via the bench for the Bulldogs.

Panthers coach Ivan Cleary has made just one change, with Tim Grant elevated to start at prop while Jeremy Latimore drops to the interchange.

FORM: The Bulldogs look to have overcome the flat patch that saw them fall to the Titans and scrape past the Raiders earlier this month. Although last week’s loss to the Rabbitohs wasn’t exactly an upset, it still raised a few questions about their ability to go deep into the playoffs. Ill-discipline, poor finishes to their sets and a slow start ultimately cost the Dogs. However, the character they showed to hit back with tries to Mitch Brown (2) and Dene Halatau in the second half should have a follow-on effect this week.

Meanwhile, the Panthers have not looked back since snapping their four-game losing streak two weeks ago. That gutsy comeback win over the Warriors was followed up with an impressive showing against the Broncos last week and will have Hasler’s men on high alert for this one.

BULLDOGS: Josh Morris, Mitch Brown, Tim Lafai, Krisnan Inu, Sam Perrett, Josh Reynolds, Trent Hodkinson, Aiden Tolman, Michael Ennis (capt), James Graham, Tony Williams, Josh Jackson, Dale Finucane. Interchange: Dene Halatau, Lachlan Burr, Tim Browne, Martin Taupau.

PANTHERS: Lachlan Coote, Josh Mansour, Lewis Brown, Dean Whare, David Simmons, Isaac John, Luke Walsh, Tim Grant, Kevin Kingston (capt), Sam McKendry, Clint Newton, Sika Manu, Ryan Simpkins. Interchange: James Segeyaro, Nathan Smith, Jeremy Latimore, Mose Masoe.
